So remember that time you spent thousands of dollars and countless weekends updating the hardware, lighting, and fixtures in your home to satin nickel? Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but satin nickel’s out and I’m SO excited about the vintage metallics that are in! I’m having a MAJOR moment with pendant lights in metallic finishes. Antique Gold: This finish is going to look amazing paired with dark walls in matte black or deep navy blue. It’s great for that men’s club/ library look paired with rich black leather, oriental rugs, and antiques!

Pewter: Pewter looks amazing with any blues or greens. It creates a very calm feeling when it’s paired with white or gray. Mix it with weathered finishes and flea market finds! Black also creates a striking contrast and looks great.

Aluminum/ Chrome: These finishes are so user friendly because they look amazing with pretty much any color! I love them with grass green, sunny yellow, sky blue, or even red. They are great for adding a punch of fun into a space.
