Reflecting on 2024: Celebrating Growth, Community, and Design Together

As we kick off 2025, we’re taking a moment to look back at the incredible year that was 2024. It’s inspiring to reflect on everything we accomplished together with our clients, community, and team. From exciting projects to new ventures and meaningful connections, last year was a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity. Here’s a look back at the highlights that made 2024 so special.

Growing Our Dream Team

Last year, we had the joy of welcoming two fantastic designers, Chloe Judge and Sydney Kaufman, to our team. Their fresh perspectives and boundless creativity added so much to what we can offer. We’re thrilled to see their talents shine as we move forward.

New Ways to Serve You

In 2024, we introduced some exciting new offerings to make design more accessible and fun:

  • Our Digital Shop: Now you can grab gift cards for design services and book Ask-A-Pro and Deluxe Consultations instantly—perfect for tackling those DIY dreams with a bit of professional guidance.

  • Interactive Workbook: Designed with fellow interior design business owners in mind, this downloadable tool is all about sharing what we’ve learned to help others grow.

Sharing Ideas and Inspiration

We were so proud to see MCI’s work featured in amazing publications throughout 2024, including Architectural Digest, Apartment Therapy, Martha Stewart, Livingetc, and The Spruce, to name just a few. These features reflect the hard work of our team and the trust of our clients—thank you for letting us tell your stories through design.

Last year, we published 28 new blog posts packed with ideas, trends, and tips to help you create spaces you love. From design hacks to community spotlights, we loved connecting with you through our content.

We were thrilled to be named the 2024 Best Interior Design Firm by AZ Foothills Magazine for the third year running! A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who voted and cheered us on—your support made this possible.

Project Highlights

Commercial Projects

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of designing a wide variety of commercial spaces that reflect our clients’ unique needs and visions. We transformed over 25,000 square feet of office and co-working spaces, including a downtown Phoenix office suite, a luxury central Phoenix office and media production studio, and a Tempe warehouse complete with a combination basketball and pickleball court.

In the wellness and beauty industries, we created tranquil, welcoming spaces for a range of businesses, including boutique salons (Verbena, The Salon), medical spas (Dolce Lounge), and unique fitness studios (Gracie Barra North Phoenix Jiu Jitsu). We loved collaborating on creative restaurant spaces like Onyx Ice Cream, crafting thoughtful designs that seamlessly blend personality, style, and functionality

Residential Projects

This year, our residential projects focused on creating personalized sanctuaries that celebrate each home’s unique character. We revitalized historic homes, including a backyard chapel turned pool house in the Willo Neighborhood and stunning remodels in Cheery Lynn and Encanto Vista. Beyond Arizona, we completed several out-of-state projects, while locally, we transformed a garage into an accessory dwelling unit (ADU), demonstrating our commitment to innovative and thoughtful design solutions.

Building Community Together

At MCI, we believe great design goes hand-in-hand with giving back. Here’s how we connected with our community in 2024:

Looking Ahead

As we continue into 2025, we’re filled with excitement for what’s to come. We can’t wait to take on new challenges, deepen our community connections, and create even more spaces that feel like home. To our clients, partners, and supporters: thank you for an amazing 2024. Here’s to dreaming even bigger in 2025!
