MCI Offices and The McKinley Club

Grand Avenue Arts District Phoenix, Arizona
Remodel + Product Procurement + Styling

Creative people need a creative work environment! The Mckinley Club, a co-working space in Downtown Phoenix, showcases how an adaptive reuse project can update a historic industrial space that was formerly a mechanic’s garage to feel polished, chic and bohemian while still honoring the existing elements of the space. The MCI team worked with Celine Rille, of the McKinley club to collaborate on the floor plan, custom features, art installations, furnishings and decor. We brought in local artists Dani Hache and Taylor Crockett to provide large scale art for the space. The co-working space needed to be flexible to accommodate as many members as possible while still hosting various community events.

Within The McKinley Club space, you’ll find the Mackenzie Collier Interiors HQ office. We designed this space to be welcoming for our team as well as our clients and community. A large-scale mural by local artist Janel Garza sits over our atelier cabinets. We repurposed a large wood industrial platform that was used to access the electrical panels as a giant plant stand to showcase our green thumbs. Our team gathers at a high gloss white and brass dining table that we use as a conference table and we picked olive green velvet chairs to sit alongside it. Each workstation has a pegboard that allows the team to stay organized and creative.

The MCI office reflects our brand and adds our signature army green color that we love through furniture and greenery as well as supporting local artists within the community by adding murals by Dani Hacche and textile art installations by Taylor Crockett.
