Intended to play up the timber-beam loft architecture and give the space a new life, this urban, art-inspired loft was designed for a photographer looking to incorporate treasures from her travels and community artwork throughout her home. Painted accent walls in cool hues add visual interest and calm the otherwise warm space. Storage solutions were designed to organize art supplies, collectibles, and travel mementos. The MCI team also helped the client declutter, reorganize, and re-style the space using mostly existing pieces. Curating and rearranging their personal collection of furniture, art, and accessories gathered from all over the world really allowed their personality to shine.
